What is Churches Together in Central Sutton Coldfield?

Churches Together in Central Sutton Coldfield is a group of nine Christian Churches, from different traditions, trying to live, to learn, to work and to share together our faith in God as revealed by Jesus Christ. Each church offers a warm welcome to YOU, whatever your beliefs or doubts, to share in our fellowship and join us on our journeys of faith.

Why does it exist?

Because Jesus wanted his disciples to love one another and work together. We can survive on our own, but we can prosper and grow when we share our gifts and resources, and support each other.

What does it do?

We worship together, particularly at Easter, Pentecost (Whit), and Christmas.

• We pray for each other, and the wider community, at our separate services and during regular “Prayer Breakfasts.”
• We support each other’s projects and join together at Sutton Carnival, a Good Friday “Walk of Witness”, and during Christmas.
• We promote work in the community through a regular “Community Lunch” which gathers a variety of local people to network over lunch.
• We learn together and from each other, occassionally sharing study courses.
• Our leadership teams meet regularly to discuss and plan future projects and activities.
